Rosie and Jacinda Magical Preview: Me!

So the final preview of Rosie and Jacinda: Demon Cloud is by the likes of me!

It’s an honour to have my art in a comic alongside the amazing talents of Zarina Liew (The Art of Sleep, Le Mime), Francesca Dare (Penny Blackfeather), Inko (Ketsueki, Rachel Moves To Brighton), Chie Kutsuwada (King of a Miniature Garden, Self Made Hero’s As You Like It) and Jade Sarson (For the Love of God Marie!, Cafe Suada).R&J-Richy-sampleR&J2-cover-for-promo

Tempo Lush Tales Teasers: Steve Horry

So years ago, I met Steve Horry when I auditioned to play drums for his band.  I didn’t get in mind you, but still really enjoyed seeing their gigs.  Anyway, a decade or so later Steve pops up at my table at London Super Comic Con and shows me his portfolio of amazing illustration and design work.  He also mentions he’s wanting to do more comic art.  This works out great for me as it leads to Steve drawing the opening story in Tempo Lush Tales, Smoky Digital Seahorse.

Here’s my favourite panel form the story (seems very insignificant out of context!) and Steve’s posted a preview of some of the art himself over on his site here!

Rosie and Jacinda Magical Preview: Inko

It was hard to find a panel of Inko‘s to show before Rosie and Jacinda: Demon Clouds comes out.  Of course every single one of her images in the story look amazing, it’s just I gave Inko the finale of the story to draw and there are so many spoilers there I have to be very careful!

Here’s a tiny hint at her wonderful art in the comic…R&J-Inko-sampleI guess we can see the full glory of her stunning cover though!R&J2-cover-for-promo

Tempo Lush Tales Teasers: Francesca Cassavetti

When I started to get into the London comic creator scene it’s safe to say that the amazing Francesca Cassavetti soon became my first comic making friend.  So it wasn’t long before before I asked if she wanted to lend her cartooning skills to a script of mine, and I had one in mind that I hoped would make her laugh.  I was thrilled that she agreed to draw it and even more thrilled that she seemed to effortlessly turn in such amazing pages.

This originally appeared in a long out of print comic called Bunch so I’m very glad it’s found a new home in Tempo Lush Tales.

Tempo Lush Tales Teasers: Aaron Murphy

The origin of the Tempo Lush Tale, Zardok Infilitration goes back a good few years when it was planned for publication in the third issue of Bunch (which was kind of ancestor of Tempo Lush Tales).  The ace Aaron “Smurf” Murphy drew a funny story displaying both silliness and an eye for a sci-fi environment.  The story ended up in Aaron’s own collection Fecal Depot #3 in 2011 but I’m glad to have found a home for it in Tempo Lush land too.

Here’s a snippet of the silliness…zardok-sampleCover-for-Promo

Tempo Lush Tales Teasers: Mike Medaglia

Many folk know Mike Medaglia through his co-founding Comic Gosh!p graphic novel reading group.
Some know him as editor extreme for his Wu Wei Anthology.
Others know him through his wonderful creations Seasons, Meditations Illustrated or Last Days of Nobodies.
Thousands more will discover his work through his new regular comics at Huffington Post.
I like to think of him as that nice guy I eat stir fried rice with.

Anyway he was kind enough to visually interpret some song lyrics of mine for Tempo Lush Tales.  Here’s a sneaky peaky peak of Save Night-Time for my Dreamssave-nighttime-sampleCover-for-Promo
